The Lewis & Leona Hughes Endowed Chair in Nursing Science
The University of South Florida College of Nursing is seeking an outstanding nurse scientist for the position of the Lewis and Leona Hughes Endowed Chair in Nursing Science. The Chair will lead and expand the development of cancer research in the College of Nursing. The Chair has endowment support and a generous start-up package and will have the opportunity for close collaboration with the Brian D. Jellison Cancer Institute at Sarasota Memorial Hospital as well as other oncology centers in the area. The Endowed Chair is a full-time, tenured position, expected to contribute to the research, teaching, and service missions of the college.
Lyall and Beatrice Thompson Nursing Professorship in Oncology
The University of South Florida College of Nursing is seeking an outstanding nurse scientist for the position of the Lyall and Beatrice Thompson Nursing Professorship in Oncology. The nurse scientist holding this professorship will sustain a robust, state-of-the-art clinical program of research in oncology and quality of life issues. This esteemed position comes with a generous start-up package as well as the opportunity to collaborate with clinician colleagues at the Sarasota Memorial Hospital Brian D. Jellison Cancer Institute to enhance research in quality-of-life care for persons with cancer.
Dorothy Benjamin Term Scientist in Memory Disorders
The University of South Florida College of Nursing is seeking an outstanding scientist for the position of Dorothy Benjamin Term Scientist in Memory Disorders. The incumbent will lead/expand the development of memory disorders research in the College of Nursing. This esteemed position comes with a generous start-up package as well as the opportunity to collaborate with researchers in established centers across the University and community.
Visiting Instructor-USF College of Nursing
The USF College of Nursing is seeking a full-time clinical/teaching (non-tenure track) faculty member eligible for the rank of Visiting Instructor able to teach courses; serve on college and university committees; and actively participate in community engagement. The primary duty of the role will be to teach in the undergraduate program, with potential participation in graduate program activities. The successful candidate may also serve as a liaison between the USF College of Nursing and designated clinical facilities, which will necessitate some travel to these facilities. Additionally, the role includes mentoring nursing students and engaging in service activities at the college, university, community, and professional levels, consistent with the rank of instructor. The faculty candidate can expect to be assigned to teach at any of the college's three campuses: Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Sarasota/Manatee depending on the needs of the program and the College.
