Advanced Practice RN (Part-Time)

The APRN is responsible for the treatment of patients in the outpatient, community-based setting within the scope of practice permitted under Florida law on the College of Nursing Clinics. The APRN is a member of the healthcare team through direct medical care, consultation, collaboration, coordination, and referral. Practices to his/her maximum potential in accordance with State and Federal laws. Functions primarily as a clinician but also has consultative and educational responsibilities; works collaboratively with specialty referrals and area healthcare delivery systems to support a patient-centered medical home model. Position may be required to float to other brick-and-mortar clinical facilities within the Tampa Bay region performing the same responsibilities. Required valid and unencumbered State of Florida RN license and certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Academic Services Administrator

This position provides oversight for clinical site coordination providing strategic leadership and communication necessary to coordinate student education; works collaboratively with directors of majors and Team Coordinators; works collaboratively with clinical and community agencies as well as individual preceptors to optimize student learning and foster positive relationships with clinical partners; collaborates with other individuals as needed to ensure necessary resources and agreements are in place; works to promote/maintain a positive image for the college in the greater Tampa Bay region. This position provides assistance to the Director of global programs assuring student compliance traveling internationally and assist with hosting international students.

Fiscal and Business Analyst II

This professional position provides financial and budget analysis, projections, examines variances, reconciles accounts, assist with management of fiscal resources at the college and its units (e.g. Florida Center for Nursing). This position will be responsible for P-card, travel, and purchasing. The Fiscal and Business Analyst will provide financial information through budget projections and financial forecasting (e.g., expected cash flow, anticipated revenue or income) to help in financial planning, identifying trends in departmental spending, etc. Positions in this job class develop financial reports, statements, and spreadsheets for use by management in determining current and future financial position.

Academic Advisor II

This position will monitor students' academic progress and make recommendations and referrals through frequent student meetings, update and maintain students' degree audits, assist with students' admissions and registration procedures, provide guidance in course selections, and evaluate transcripts. Additional duties involve participating in college orientation and course placement initiatives, and retention programs. An Academic Advisor II is expected to possess extensive knowledge about academic programs, policies, procedures, and student support services within the scope of their responsibilities. This position is expected to work closely with other Academic Advisors, Academic Admission Recruiters, Academic Svc. Administrators and other staff and faculty as appropriate under the leadership of the Assistant Director of Advising. The successful candidate will possess excellent written and oral communication skills; will possess the ability to effectively work with a diverse group of individuals; and will possess an understanding of the academic, social, and personal challenges that current and perspective students may face.

Academic Advisor I

The Academic Advisor I position is a key professional role within the Office of Student Affairs who will be working and interacting with a broad base of individuals including but not limited to faculty, administrative, staff and students both internally and externally. The Academic Advisor I will foster students intellectual and personal development toward academic success, advising students from admission to graduation, and coordinates student programs to enhance the educational experience and promote student success. The Academic Advisor in this position must also develop an in depth knowledge of the campus, especially resources and academic policies and procedures, provide accurate information and to make appropriate referrals.
