CON Admission Evaluator Advisor I
Reporting to the Associate Director of Admissions, the Nursing Admissions Evaluation Advisor I is responsible for the evaluation of all applications within their assigned nursing populations at both the undergraduate and graduate level. This entry-level position serves as the primary point of contact for applicants, guiding them through the application process and providing accurate information about program requirements. This job requires strong communication skills, a student-oriented attitude, and a commitment to working with a diverse student population. The role requires extensive knowledge of university and college policies, discretion in decision-making, and the ability to manage various projects effectively. The nursing admissions team strives to be knowledgeable, accessible, and transparent with all prospective students we serve.
Mo-Bull Health Unit Driver (Part-Time)
Mobile Health Unit Driver is a member of the College of Nursing Mo-Bull Nurse Medical Clinic Team who will be responsible for the safe functioning, navigation and operation of a 38ft mobile unit and thus supports the extension of health services to and from various communities in the Tampa Bay region. The responsibilities included but not limited to performing general maintenance activities, fueling, replenishing potable water, interior and exterior cleaning, and operational assessment. During stationary operation, duties may include administrative tasks (e.g. tracking mileage logs, gas card receipts, planning next site visit, etc.,) including interactions with community members as appropriate. Position will report the Director of Clinical Practice. Training for the Mo-Bull Nurse Medical Clinic operations will be provided. CPR/First Aid certification required within 3 months of employment. Position will be subject to pre-employment testing (alcohol/drugs). This position is Part-Time and grant funded.
Multimedia Journalist
This position will report to the Director of Communication and Marketing and will evaluate news leads, develop story ideas, and produce visual and written content that helps promote and tell the stories of the organization. Candidate must be highly skilled in shooting and editing video, taking still photos and writing to promote USF Health for digital platforms including web and social media. Capturing quality visual content, demonstrating superior skills in planning, pre- and post-production video and editing, including creating graphics and animation design, and demonstrating effective digital content strategy are essential. Candidates must be experienced multi-media journalists/videographers, able to package video news stories with written media and must have a passion for storytelling and an ability to work rapidly and independently. This position may also produce imagery/assets to support marketing communications campaigns, assist in occasional production of graphic design elements and still photography, and consult with other USF Health departments on their video and photography products. Candidates must be able to meet immediate deadlines, sometimes on short notice, be a team player, and work effectively in a collaborative, creative team environment. When available, this position must be able to assist with daily media relations.
Advanced Practice RN (On-Site)
The APRN is responsible for the treatment of patients in the outpatient, community-based setting within the scope of practice permitted under Florida law on the College of Nursing Mobile Health Unit. The APRN is a member of the healthcare team through direct medical care, consultation, collaboration, coordination, and referral. Practices to his/her maximum potential in accordance with State and Federal laws. Functions primarily as a clinician but also has consultative and educational responsibilities; works collaboratively with specialty referrals and area healthcare delivery systems to support a patient-centered medical home model. Position may be required to float to other brick-and-mortar clinical facilities within the Tampa Bay region performing the same responsibilities. Required valid and unencumbered State of Florida RN license and certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
